Eleventh Day of Best of British Event....

Crafty Individuals is an exciting venture into the creative world of arts and crafts for business partners Jean Hardy and Malcolm Noble, who both come from an arts-based background.


Jean Hardy is a practising artist with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, as well as a teaching certificate.


Malcolm Noble is a professional commercial photographer who has been operating in the North East for the last 20 years.

I've used another of the fabulous stepper card blanks from Whichcraft for my card....The Image is one of the fabulous stamps from Crafty Individual .....I've just coloured the flower with promarkers and flexmarkers.....


The papers are from a Craftwork Cards paper pack,the card is from my stash....
The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and is from one of the new range,the buttons are also from Crafty ribbons and I've just tied some hemp through them...To finish off I've just put some faux stitching around the edge...

A Gem of a Challenge....


EDITED.....A big sorry I scheduled this for mid morning and it didn't post so sorry to all my team mates for being late.......
So pleased the weekend is here I've not been sleeping to well lately,worried about my Mum who has been ill again,so hoping I get to have a lie in and catch up on some sleep..... Today see's a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge,we are also welcoming our new team members......My lovely team mate Gemma is hosting and she has this lovely picture as inspiration for you all.....


And here's my card....


I've used one of the new digi's from Pink Gem designs called Jodie in dungarees....I've coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.....Then cut her out with my nesties.....All the paper and card is from my scrap box again...


The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons .....The flowers and glass gems are also from my stash...The sentiment is from a LOTV sentiment set

I've used a card blank from Whichcraft for my stepper card,the decorative paper is from my scraps box...The image is from Mo Manning called Make a wish...I've coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers...


The swirl has been cut with my Magnolia Do-Hickey die....The sentiment is from a Whimsey stamp set....
The flowers and ribbon are from my stash..I've push some small rose buds into the ribbon along the bottom...And then just added pearl gems to the other two steps...

And here's my card....



I've used the Anenome Corner stamp from IndigoBlu....I've used the flitterglu set ....You cover  a piece of phat foam with the fllitterglu then you gently put it onto your stamp just like using an ink pad and stamp your image and this time I chose to stamp onto black card,then you sprinkle the mega flakes over and rub them in gently,then using your scoochy sponge you rub the excess off and it buff it's up also...


Here is a close up but the picture doesn't do it justice it really shines....I've then mounted it onto some gold card and tied a piece of grograin ribbon from Crafty Ribbons around it...The sentiment if from my stash which I already had stamped out so sorry can't remember who it's by.....

And here's my card....


I've use the fabulous image from Stamposaurus called Butch I've coloured this time with polychromos pencils and blended with sansador......


I've then matted and layered the image and put a piece of the fabulous Best of British ribbon from Crafty Ribbons across the bottom......The bunting has been cut out with a Die-Namics die and then layered up and just put across the top....


The paper is from the Portobello Road paper pad......The fabulous buttons are also from Crafty Ribbons and I've used them as the stop for the card and another piece of the fabulous ribbon to finish off...

And here is my project...



I decided to make a gift box full of small cards which can be used for any occasion really...I've added some of the Best of British ribbon through the middle and one of the fab Union Jack buttons both from Crafty Ribbons....


I used the stamp set that is today's prize and really enjoyed making all the sayings....The only time consuming bit was the cutting of all the layers which I decided to red and blue which fitted in with the Best of British event and the sayings.....




Now these four just had to be made and how great to send to all those crafty friends you have....
